Upgraded software to aid roll
form tooling design
Roll-Kraft has completed an upgrade to
its tube and pipe and roll form tooling
design software. This improvement
will allow engineers to optimise the
new applications to include the design
of the bearingless floating flange. It
will cut engineering time almost in half
when designing these products.
Each individual piece will be drawn
and the program will produce an
assembly drawing. This will not only
ease the process of engineering, but
also standardise the processes of the
machine programmers and production
workers. As many companies want
shorter lead times for their tooling orders,
Roll-Kraft continues to look for ways to
improve every facet of the manufacturing
operation, and devotes considerable
effort, time and resources to be the
supplier who can meet short lead-time
requests. On-going day-by-day and
month-by-month improvements allow
the company to maintain its position as a
leader in providing roll tooling.
