Some changes to the ITA International
Executive Management Board (IEMB)
Following elections at the ITA’s annual general meeting on 28 March during
Tube Düsseldorf 2012 there were some changes to the IEMB board. Other
changes to several sub committees were agreed at an IEMB board meeting
on 25 March.
Dr Gunther Voswinckel remains president, Mr T Nakata chairman and Mr D
Liddle honourary treasurer. Replacing Mr T Banack as vice chairman, who
remains on the IEMB board, is Mr M Cottin of SMS Meer GmbH, Germany.
Mr Cottin also joined the Administration Sub Committee (ASC). All previous
vice presidents were re-elected. The following members were re-elected to the
IEMB board in addition to the officers and vice presidents: Messrs Narayan,
Loynes, Joshi, Bugden, Nallen, Pollard, Byroslawsky, Knight and Banack.
Mr Byroslawsky has joined the Finance Sub Committee and Mr A Houghton
the Technical Management and Papers Awards committees. For a full list of

Stellar range
Since it was founded, Stellar Tube &
Pipe Group has been dedicated to high
quality stainless steel seamless tube
and pipe manufacturing, and has taken

In order to satisfy customers’ needs,
Stellar joined with Irestal Group of
Spain, to set up the joint venture Irestal
(Shanghai) Stainless Pipe Co, Ltd,
which professionally manufactures
welded pipes. The total investment
in the plant is around US$45mn. Its
designed annual capacity is around
30,000 tonnes; with continuous process
lines, the OD can range from 10 to
219mm, WT 0.5 to 8mm; while with
bending process lines, OD range is 273
to 2,500mm, WT 3 to 25mm.
All key machines and testing facilities
are imported from leading European
manufacturers.
