Scott Miller
Before Scott Miller joined Brandt
Engineered Products Ltd as an In-
ternational Business Director, Tube
& Pipe., where he is responsible for
meeting the needs of pipe manu-
facturers in Europe, Russia & CIS,
Middle East, and Africa, he was al-
ready well known by pipe manufac-
turers in this region as he brings
over 25 years of experience in the
Tube & Pipe industry.
Born 1970 in Halesowen, West Mid-
lands, UK, he earned an apprentice-
ship at the age of 16 years with The
Bronx Engineering Co., also locat-
ed in the West Midlands. As many
young and aspired professionals,
while following his apprenticeship,
he also attended firstly Stourbridge
and subsequently Dudley technical
colleges to earn all the necessary
diplomas in Engineering Studies. In
1989 Scott was awarded a position
at the University of Wales college of
Cardiff on a Degree course to study
Mechanical and Manufacturing En-
gineering. After a successful time
he left Cardiff University in 1993
after being awarded a Bachelor of
Engineering Degree with Honours
and consequently started his career
within the specialist department of
Tube and Bar.
In 2001 he was promoted to Sales
Manager responsible in the field
of steel mill capital equipment for
the finishing of tubes, bars & pro-
files. During this time he regular-
ly travelled globally for sales and
contractual purposes, negotiated
at board level with customers from
the OCTG and automotive industry,
and international steel companies
such as Sandvik, V&M, Arcelor Mit-
tal, TMK, Hyundai, Evraz & Tata. He
accomplished his skills, experience
and knowledge of commercial mat-
ters including world currencies and
markets, payment terms and con-
ditions, letters of credit and Inco-
terms Shipping conditions. Among
other extensive knowledge Scott
Miller is specialised in interna-
tional sales negotiations, contract
management, in the compilation of
technical and commercial offers for
large capital equipment and in the
management of agents and repre-
sentatives.
In 2012 Scott Miller completed his
most recent career progression; he
joined Brandt Engineered Products
Ltd, located in Regina, Canada, as
a International Business Director,
Tube & Pipe. Brandt Engineered
Products is a leading supplier of
finishing floor solutions for steel
tube & pipe manufacturers. As
Brandt continues to grow and de-
velop the Tube & Pipe business in
Europe, Russia & CIS, Middle East,
and Africa the need for local pres-
ence is evident. Scott will be based
in the UK and will additionally join
the ITA as a member of the Euro-
pean Management Board. The ITA
is very pleased to welcome such a
reliable, experienced and well ed-
ucated professional within its own
fold.
