Euromaquina is a company based in
Spain offering worldwide machinery
and services for sheet processing,
tube & pipe & profile manufacturing
and processing with a philosophy
to offer, where required, complete
solutions, for example including:
engineering (layout optimization,
civil works engineering); machines
(new, used and revamped at their
facilities); services (upgrading,
eventual testing at Euromaquina’s
facilities close to Bilbao and turn-
key installing at site).
Their two warehouses and work-
shops include several 2D and 3D
CAD stations, shot blasting, wash-
ing and painting cabins, some met-
al working machinery and area for
assembly. Occasionally the machin-
ery delivered is being integrated
in line with existing equipment.
A recent project was implemented
in Brazil at a leading tube manu-
facturer. Another interesting capa-
bility is the relocation of complete
facilities. At the time of writing
Euromaquina is setting up a com-
plete plant in Mexico which was
removed from Turkey and had re-
cently moved a modern used tube
mill from Germany to the USA.
The company has further devel-
oped a zero-maintenance emulsion
filtering unit (FILTRA-4), which is
successfully running in Spain, Pe-
ru and Venezuela and has been or-
dered in Turkey and Mexico. It is
used for tube mills and hydro test-
ers.
In 2012 Euromaquina celebrated its
50th anniversary, having expanded
its sales to 30 countries from An-
gola to Finland and Chile to Thai-
land. “Africa, Asia, and Latin Amer-
ica are thriving markets”, board
members say. Turn-key projects in
Peru, Mexico, Kenya and Egypt con-
firm this. “The recent TUBE India
2012 fair in Mumbai can be con-
sidered a success”, said the General
Manager, José Berenguer, “both in
terms of quantity and of quality of
the enquiries”. The company also
exhibited at Tekno/Tube Arabia in
January 2013. “Mumbai and Dubai
are certainly good hubs between
continents.”
Euromaquina is now working with
a partner on a new service: at-site
consultancy of long-time machine
and factory experts for ERW pro-
cesses, cold drawing and finishing
and hot dip galvanizing of tubes
and pipes. The company’s expe-
rience is also based on long time
representation of first class brands
in Spain, Portugal (and partially in
South America) such as Bültmann,
OTO, MAIR, Prüftechnik, Therma-
tool, Sottri and others. Says José
Berenguer: “Euromaquina is an
international integrator of skills
and experiences. A global economy
needs global actors.”
