recently signed a series of orders
of high values with an enterprise
specializing in stainless steel com-
posite pipes for oil and natural gas
delivery including the complete
equipment for composite carbon
steel/stainless steel pipes. The
specifications of the carbon steel
base pipes are OD of 168 - 711
mm, wall thickness of 8 - 25.4 mm,
and length of 14.6 meters. The wall
thickness of the stainless steel lin-
er pipes are from 1 to 3 mm. The
stainless steel liner pipe is tightly
attached to the inner wall of the
carbon steel base pipe via hydraulic
diameter enlargement. Both ends
of the base pipe are welded to a
certain thickness with the stainless
steel electrode in the inner wall of
the depth of 50 to 100 mm before
they are machined to the designed
dimensions with the boring ma-
chine. This kind of steel pipe is so
far the internal anti-corrosion pipe
for oil and natural gas delivery of
the best cost performance, the use
of which is being extensively pro-
moted. FD Machinery Co. provided
the machine of the same type of
smaller diameters to the same en-
terprise with the OD of the base
pipe as 89 - 273 mm.
After receiving the order from Eu-
rope for 4 production lines for
welded pipes (with the specifica-
tions of ø40 mm, ø89 mm x 2 lines
and ø219 mm respectively), FD Ma-
chinery Co. signed a contract for a
ø76 mm machine unit and a fully
automatic packing machine (deliv-
ered) with a client in North Africa,
and another order with the client
in the Middle East for four lines
with the specifications of ø40 mm
x 2 lines, ø76 mm and ø127 mm
respectively, while the speed of the
machine unit of ø40 mm is up to
150 m/min.
The installation of a fully automat-
ic flexible square pipe production
line AUTO-CFS delivered in June
this year has been completed and
the line is now under commission-
ing. This machine is designed and
manufactured by FD Company Co.
with specifications of 80 x 80 - 180
x 180 mm and wall thicknesses of
4 to 13 mm. Only a very few num-
bers of rollers need to be replaced
when the product specifications are
changed, while most rollers can be
adjusted automatically via servo
motors. This is the most advanced
flexible heavy duty square pipe ma-
chine in the world at present.
The fully automatic production line
for welded pipes AUTO-DNSA sold
by FD Machinery Co. has been in-
spected and accepted recently,
which is the first truly automatic
roller change production line in
the world so far. For the automatic
roll change in the past, the shaft
system assembly of the roller or
the stand, even the base has to be
removed together with the roller.
While for this machine, the roller
change is completed automatically
on line via the mechanical arm, so
FD Machinery Co. becomes the first
company to make the automatic
roller change machine.
