My name is Nataliya Koryaka. I am
a manager at the Foreign Relations
Department, of AKKAD Ltd. I was
educated at the Dnepropetrovsk
State University – Foreign Languag-
es Department and I am a graduate
specialist of the Moscow Institute
of Information Technologies.
2. When did you join the ITA?
I started to work for the ITA almost
twenty years ago, back in 1994 and
I have joined the ITA as a regular
member on the 15th of January
2005. I was recommended by Phil-
lip Knight, the long-time executive
secretary of the ITA. He is still a
good friend of mine.
3. What is your main purpose to
work for ITA?
My main purpose is to support
tube & pipe engineers and other
specialists of the tube and pipe in-
dustry from the CIS countries. I am
also very delighted to foster and
endorse new as well as long-time
members wherever I can.
It makes me proud and happy to be
part of this prestigious association.
It is a real gift along with a great
benefit being involved in an inter-
national network where only spe-
cialists can join. As a longstanding
member and ITA representative for
the CIS countries, I am always very
eager to convey to prospective
members the variety of benefits a
membership in the ITA can bring to
them. It means practically to pro-
vide them with an access to state
of the art developments, new tech-
nologies, new equipment and more.
4. What can you as an ITA repre-
sentative do for ITA members and
new members?
First of all I am always a partner for
a professional exchange. Secondly
I am using my position to strongly
suggest very practical references,
i.e. how to prepare best for an ex-
hibition, how to get in touch with
the different boards of the ITA,
how to make new contacts and so
on. I am also able to open the ITA
for new target groups, especially
women from the CIS countries or
young professionals.
5. What do you like most in working
for and with ITA?
As I have already said. I like the
international spirit and the pro-
fessional exchange with my col-
leagues all over the world and I
like being always informed about
the latest developments, the ex-
cellently organized exhibitions, the
virtual and real marketplace of the
tube and pipe industry and so on.
Benefits I tend to communicate to
all prospective customers of my
country.
