Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
I couldn’t agree more with the words of Dr. Gunter Voswinckel. Due to the excellent work of Phillip Knight and the support of his team-assistants Debi Colemann and Jackie Dickinson, I was able to take over the position as Executive Secretary without any obstacles.

From the early beginning I was convinced that we should follow a double-tracked path. On the one hand it was only sensible to adopt what was good with the ITA’s standards, on the other hand it was necessary to raise new bars.

First and foremost we want to continue the excellent customer care the ITA is known for, both during all the trade-fairs, where the ITA is represented worldwide, and of course also in the meantime. We always want to offer you our experience and knowledge, an open ear and perfect consultancy. Secondly we intend to be always as loyal and faithful to our valued cooperation partner Messe Düsseldorf as Messe Düsseldorf can expect us to be. And additionally we want to set new standards, especially with the relaunch of the ITA website and the ITAtube Journal, the successor of the former ITAN. Our intention is to open both instruments more for the audience, in order to win new target groups, especially women and young professional. For instance, we are installing new interactive functions on our website, i.e. an expert forum for an intensive and reasonable exchange, a knowledge base and a job center to search and find the right professionals or the right profession. You will have the possibility to follow us – and comment – on twitter and we will install a facebook group, as to win more and new target groups accordingly. The ITAtube Journal comes with new columns, in order to represent the industry as well as the developments of new products. One major modernization will be the implementation of advertising possibilities for our members. We will provide the media data in due course.

All these renewals will only be possible with your encouragement and your active participation! We would highly appreciate your respected input, comments, proposals and even criticism. The idea of a strong and successful international network and a coherent worldwide community can only be achieved if the organization and it’s valued members act in concert.
